The Alley Way Stamps June Release Blog Hop!

Hi everyone! Today is the fun day where you can see all of the new releases from The Alley Way Stamps! We are having a fabulous blog hop to show off all of the new stamps and one lucky reader will win the entire release!

I am in love with this brand new set, Crossing Lines! It is a fabulous set of 6 separate line stamps in varying widths and sizes that are long enough to cover a standard 5 1/2 " car in one fell swoop! The creative possibilities are endless! You can create backgrounds, borders and my favorite, plaids!

I decided to go for a Glen Plaid look and create a masculine card because I never have enough on hand. The colors are traditional gray and black with a pop of bright blue! I kept everything on the straight line here, but you can also create some fantastic diagonal patterns too!  Some ink colored canvas swatches add a bit more masculinity to the card and I layered those with a sentiment from All About You, a metal clip and some black enamel dots.

More fab plaid lines on the inside along with a simple sentiment from Wish Big! What a cool set that is a must have for any stamper! Remember, all of the new sets will be released tomorrow, June 1st and please visit all of the other awesome TAWS designers to see more of the new June release stamps in action!

TAWS June Sneak Peek Day #3!

Hi everyone! It's my favorite time of the month! New stamp sets are coming from The Alley Way Stamps on June 1st! Be sure and check out sneak peeks day #1 and day #2 on the TAWS blog! Plus, leave a comment on the TAWS blog today and you could win today's sneak peek set!

My sneak is of the new set Fly By which is filled with awesome images of winged creatures! I chose the dragonfly and stamped it on watercolor paper. I then masked off the image with rubber cement and watercolored over it with some bright inks! The fun dot images are part of the set as well as this uplifting sentiment! For a bit of shimmer, I glittered up the wings and added some crystal gems!

On the inside, I stamped another of the fab images from the Fly By set and created a sentiment from a couple of other TAWS sets! Of course, more gems for sparkle!

Tomorrow is the big blog hop for the May release of The Alley Way Stamps! All of the designers will be showing off terrific creations using all of the new images and one lucky reader will win all three new stamp sets!

Oh Baby!

Hi everyone! I have another adorable baby card to share with you today! These new baby image and sentiment stamps from The Alley Way Stamps are so darn cute and will be perfect for all of these baby gifts you will be needing!

I wanted to use as many of the sweet images from the Nap Time set as possible! I decided on these six, but there are more cute ones in the set! There are also tiny images as well which I used on each of the square panels. All of the shapes were cut with my Silhouette and then layered over the smaller panels and embellished with one tiny rhinestone. The sentiment is from the Baby on Board mini set.  Super adorable!

The inside is clean and simple with just one of the baby images accented with some more tiny gems! Lots of room to write a very special message to the lucky parents!

Sneak Peeks for new Alley Way Stamps start on Wednesday! Visit the blog to see sneaks of the new sets and then come back and see what I created on Friday!

Sweet Little Gifts….

Hi everyone! For a lot of parents the school year is coming to an end and it's time to say thank you to those that have helped your children grow throughout the year. Here is some crafty inspiration for a special teacher gift.

I took one of the chevron striped mini envelopes from Bella Creationz ( already super cute on it's own!) and dressed it up a bit by simply adding an embossed tag a die cut flower and twine, wonderful twine!  These little envelopes are brightly colored in wonderful trendy chevrons and the white flower just pops! I added a few of the spring sequins for a bit of sparkle and added two different colors of twine.

These are the perfect size for a gift card and some candy favorites! Not only do they make great teacher gifts but would work as shower gifts or graduations as well! Hope I have inspired you to create your own crafty packaging!

TAWS Be Inspired Challenge #53!

Hi there! It's time again for a brand new Be Inspired Challenge brought to you by The Alley Way Stamps! I am loving the inspiration pick for this challenge because it's all about bright colors!

At the time I saw the inspiration photo, I also needed a birthday card for my 3 year old nephew which I had already planned to do in robots. This was the perfect opportunity to combine the two for a super cute and bright birthday card! I embossed all of the bots and then colored them with Copic markers in fun birthday colors! Once cut out, I layered them over the futuristic background stamp from the Bot Time set and added a charming birthday sentiment! The finishing touches were some painted and glittered stars and some happy twine!  He loved it!

Head over to the BIC blog for more inspiration from the design team and to link up your fantastic creation! Remember, you have a whole month to get crafty with us!

Ducks For Baby!

Hi everyone! I am loving the new releases this month from The Alley Way Stamps! Tri-Me with it's great triangle images is definitely one of my go to sets and who can resist all the baby cute-ness in the fabulous baby images stamps! I decided to combine the two for a non-traditional baby card!

I started with a cool background from Bitty Borders in turquoise and then added in some bright coral triangles from Tri-Me and topped those off with the cute duck images from Nap Time. Definitely not your traditional baby colors but I think they look great! I tied the edge with hemp cord and sprinkled on a few candy dots!

The inside features the same background stamps as the front and a simple sentiment! Another little sprinkling of candy dots too!
